Ingredients (1 serve)
-
½ cup hot water
-
2-3 fresh strawberries (or 2 tbsp strawberry purée/jam)
-
1-2 tsp honey or sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
-
½–¾ cup hot milk (dairy or plant-based, frothed if possible)
Method
1. Brew hibiscus
Pop your hibiscus tea into ½ cup hot water and let it steep for 5–7 minutes. Bright, tangy base = sorted.
2. Strawberry mix
Mash up those strawberries with honey/sugar until smooth. No fresh berries? Heat a spoonful of jam with a splash of water. Easy peasy.
3. Combine
Stir the strawberry purée into your hibiscus brew — look at that colour!
4. Creamy finish
Pour in your hot frothed milk, holding back the foam, then crown your cup with the frothy top.
5. Optional flair
Sprinkle with dried hibiscus petals or a cheeky dusting of cinnamon. Insta-worthy. ✨
Pro-Tip
Swap the honey for vanilla syrup if you want a dessert-like twist. Or spike it with a dash of rose water for the full bougie café feel.
